Lehman Road closed due to deterioration of culvert

Washtenaw County Road Commision (WCRC) closed Lehman Road over the Mill Creek Tributary, between Sylvan Road and M-52, in Sharon Township last Thursday, May 23 because of extensive structural deterioration of the cross road culvert. WCRC decided to close this structure during a recent bridge inspection. The detour for this closure will utilize Sylvan Road to Grass Lake Road to M-52. 

A schedule to replace the bridge and reopen Lehman Road at this location is undetermined at this time. WCRC thanks you in advance for your patience as the agency determines the best course of action to address this bridge closure.
