Thank you to Hollie Kolcz for providing all of the information in this article.

The students receiving the Mary Nosbisch Memorial Scholarship are (L to R) Erin Thompson, Hannah Woods, Autumn Cole and Ellie Walkowe. Mr. McCalla and Mrs. Baskins are looking at Hollie Kolcz as she said, “Mary Nosbisch was a teacher in Manchester for over 20 years. She always encouraged her students to strive to do their best at any task. She felt that they would never know what they could accomplish if they never tried. Mrs. Nosbisch believed that everyone had something special within them that, if developed, would lead to a richer, fuller life, and that education was the key to unlocking those hidden gifts. Each of you have demonstrated drive and determination during their high school career. I am honored to present this $500 Mary Nosbisch Memorial Scholarship to you. Mrs. Nosbisch would have truly enjoyed having each of you in her class.”
