NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS 

During a regular meeting on 6-Jun-19, the Bridgewater Township Board of Trustees adopted amendments to the Township Zoning Ordinance No. 67, by authority of the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act (Public Act 110 of 2006, MCL 125.3101 et. seq., as amended), for the purposes of amending sections 4.02 (Table of Permitted Uses by District), 5.204 (Home Occupations), 5.407 (Limited Business Use), 8.02 (Site Plan Approval Required), and 19.03 (Definitions) to update home occupation requirements and add provisions for a separate class of home-based limited business uses subject to special use permit and minor site plan approval. 

A copy of the Zoning Ordinance and amendatory ordinance may be purchased or inspected by appointment through the Township Clerk’s office; please call (517) 315-7545. The adopted amendments shall become effective on the eighth day following publication of this notice of adoption, unless referendum procedures are initiated under MCL 125.3402. If referendum procedures are initiated under MCL 125.3402, the ordinance shall take effect in accordance with MCL 125.3402.
