Sharon Township 6/6/19 Board Meeting Synopsis: 

The Sharon Township Board held its June Board meeting on June 6, 2019 at the Sharon Town Hall. There were 8 public attendees. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was said. Roll Call: Guysky, Mikel, Psarouthakis, Simons, Cooper: PRESENT.   Approval of the agenda. There were no public comments. General Reports were given. 2019 taxes will go out July 1st. The Planning Commission reported that they are working on the Bluteau special use review, next meeting on that will be on June 11th at 7pm. Discussion took place on the cemetery project and roads projects. Discussion took place on the Manchester Village Citizens Advisory Committee meetings that have taken place in regards to the Village becoming a City, Guysky and Mikel were in attendance. The townships concerns were discussed and it was suggested that residents attend future meetings at the Manchester Village Council Chambers on June 18th at 7:00pm. Eric Zink was unanimously appointed to ZBA. Discussion took place on CACA and the Board unanimously voted to move to using the Washtenaw County Building Inspectors. The Board approved a “Resolution to adopt procedures for granting and removing real exemptions.” *full resolution available at the Town Hall. The 2019/2020 BUDGET HEARING took place. There will be NO JULY meeting. The JULY MEETING will be held JUNE 27, 2019- this will also be the BUDGET ADOPTION MEETING. The warrant report was approved. The meeting adjourned at 8:48 pm. 

Next meeting is the 2019/2020 BUDGET ADOPTION meeting on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 7:00pm.
