Garry L. Blossom — June 3, 1952-July 8, 2019

Garry L. Blossom (Chopper) of Manchester passed quietly at home Monday, July 8, 2019 with his wife and boys by his side.

Garry was born June 3, 1952 in Jackson, Michigan and was the son of Maynard (deceased) and Mary Blossom. Garry attended and graduated from Manchester High School in 1970. On April 22, 1972 Garry married Elizabeth (Flint) and they were able to celebrate 47 years together. Out of this union were born two boys Matthew (Kelly) and Brian Blossom. His greatest joy and happiness were his grandchildren and great grand daughters. Grandchildren Dawson and Shyanne Blossom, Richelle (CW) Covell and Kaycee Arris and his great granddaughters Kelsey, Anna Lynn (his name sake) and McKenzie Covell.

Garry is survived as well by sisters Cindy (Gary) Pilbean, Debbie (Bill) Kastanis, and  brother Tom (Laura) Blossom and much-loved nieces and nephews.

Garry worked for Uniloy Milacron until their closing and was a member off the Manchester Men’s Club chairing the Easter egg hunt for several years.
A family and friends gathering is set for July 28, 2019 from 1 to 4 at the Emanuel United Church of Christ fellowship hall in Manchester. Garry’s request was that you bring a memory or story to share.

Memorials are directed to the family for three hand picked memorials by Garry.
