Clinton UCC kicks off Youth Connection Sept. 8
The United Church of Christ in Clinton is holding a parents’ meeting for everyone interested in participating in the free Youth Connection group Sunday, September, 8, following church service (which begins at 9:45 am). The church address is 300 Tecumseh Rd. Clinton, MI 49236
The Youth Connect Group is a youth group that welcomes ALL gender identities and beliefs.
The mission of Youth Ministries in the United Church of Christ is to:
– Affirm the unique gifts and talents of our youth;
– Create “safe places” where youth can examine their faith journeys;
– Develop youth leadership, promote spiritual growth, encourage stewardship, and strengthen a sense of belonging;
– Develop, nurture, and sustain adult leaders in youth ministry through training, resourcing, and networks of support;
– Serve our community through volunteering and projects, environmental, cleaning and recycling reach out, backpacks for the homeless, feeding our community, stocking the Blessing Box, and visiting retirement centers and veterans’ centers.
Lastly, and most important—we are having FUN while sharing our faith! We plan events like Cedar Point trips, Bowling, go-carting, camping, concerts, and many more exciting trips and meetings.
