Obituary: Charles Sterling Collins

His Legacy… Charles Sterling Collins, 53, passed away August 28, 2019.  He was born on August 6, 1966 in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Perry James and Jane Lizabeth (Clinton) Collins. Chuck married, Gina Ray, on October 14, 2000 in Belleville, Michigan.   

He will be remembered for his fun loving nature, the love of his family and hunting. Chuck was passionate about motorcycles especially his Harley Davidson. He also liked to travel when he had the opportunity to other countries as well as the United States to visit family members.

His Family… Chuck will be missed by his children, Lizabeth (Craig) VanBogelen, Adam Collins and his significant other (Nichole), Emma (Zach) Berkeypile and Brooke (Alex) King;  his mother Jane (Doug) Pozega; siblings Jimmy Collins, Shelly Collins and Henry Montgomery; grandchildren Nora King, Luther VanBogelen, Paisley Collins and one more on the way that he was very excited about; and two nephews Sterling and Tyler. He is preceded in death by his wife Gina.

His Farewell… Chuck’s family and friends will gather Sunday, September 1, 2019 from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Borek Jennings Funeral Home; Braun Chapel, Brooklyn, Michigan.
