Local tour’s bus driver recognized by Firekeepers’ Casino

The Friends of Manchester casino group was pleasantly surprised when they arrived at Firekeepers’ Casino this month. Their bus driver, Mark Seibert, was selected as the casino’s “Driver of the Month,” receiving a framed certificate, a nice gift, and some cash money.

Every other month, the Friends of Manchester group climbs aboard the Getaway Tours and Charter bus for a day at the casino, all hoping to “hit it big,” or at least break even.

Christine Honer of Manchester has been coordinating the bi-monthly trip for several years, and welcomes all newcomers to join in the fun. The cost of the bus trip is $30.00 per person, and the casino gives each rider an additional $5.00 food credit and $20.00 “free-play” credits.

The next scheduled trip will be Wednesday, October 23, leaving Manchester at 8:30 a.m. and returning at 4:15 p.m. The bus stop is located on Hibbard Street in the lot behind the Manchester Public Library.
