Lee Blumenauer receives his award from Joe Packard, Washtenaw County Farm Bureau President.

The Outstanding Involvement in Agriculture Award honors Washtenaw County youth who have shown exceptional involvement and leadership in agriculture projects. Both Future Farmers of America (FFA) and 4-H members are eligible for this award.

This year’s Manchester FFA recipient is Lee Blumenauer, a senior at Manchester High School. Through FFA he has attended FFA state convention and has led the corn learning station at Rural Education Days. Additionally, he is involved in 4-H and the Manchester Community Fair, where he enjoys showing pigs and cattle. He serves in an officer position with the Manchester Swine Club, Manchester Steer Club, Country Expressions 4-H Club, and Washtenaw County 4-H Junior Livestock Committee. He also has been a mentor in the 4-H Livestock Mentoring Program.

Thank you Lee, for your outstanding involvement in agriculture!
