The Manchester Sportsman Club, located at 8501 Grossman Rd., is holding a Sight-in Day on Sunday, October 27 from 1  to 4:30 pm (last shooter on line) with a close time of 5 pm.

The event costs $5 for 1 or 2 firearms and $3 for each extra firearm. The shooter will provide two boxes of commercial sporting ammo, (no military spec / surplus ammo, i.e. FMJ, Tracer or Steel Penetrating Rounds). The Sportsman Club will provide three tables at 100 yards for sighting-in and assistance to get on target with spotting scopes, as well as one table at 25 yards for confirming shot placement on paper.

Shooters will confirm that firearms are safe to shoot. No gunsmithing or action repair will occur. Assistance is for optical or metallic sight adjustments only! Youth shooters must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

The Manchester Sportsman Club is one-half mile south of intersection of Grossman Rd., and Austin Rd., west of downtown Manchester.  They have an interactive map on their website: www.manchestersportsmanclub.org.
