November events at the Manchester District Library
Library offers Food for Fines to benefit the Manchester CRC and more!
The Manchester District Library is committed to providing outstanding service to our community. To that end, we will be holding our annual Food for Fines drive November 3 – 9. Bring in a non-perishable food item, receive a $0.50 credit toward your library fines, and help feed local families in need. All donated food will be delivered to the Manchester Community Resource Center for distribution. See library front desk for details, and thank you for your support!
In addition, this month the library will be hosting an autumn quilt display, provided by the Manchester Quilting Guild. Program-wise, our perennial favorites will continue, like Knit Nights (Wednesday 6:30 pm), Story Times (Wednesday 10:30 am), and Once Upon a Time Book Club (Monday 4 pm). Also continuing are our monthly programs: Family History Guild (11/19 6:30 pm), beekeeping (11/18 6:30 pm), and Computer Basics (11/21, please note the change to Thursdays). Finally, a note about Thanksgiving: the Manchester District Library will close Wednesday, November 27 at 6 pm and reopen on Friday, November 29 at 10 am. The library staff wishes a Happy Thanksgiving to all our neighbors and friends!
