If you have driven by Klager Elementary School recently you may have noticed a painted plow in front. Once again, Klager was selected to participate in the Washtenaw County Road Commission’s (WCRC) Paint a Plow program. This year Kathy O’Mara and Ellen Supers’ first grade classes painted the plow, basing their artwork based on a book, “The Dot,” by Peter H. Reynolds that the classes had read. The plow will be used by WCRC this winter to plow local roads.

The WCRC Paint a Plow Program is open to all schools in the county and is a way for local students to showcase their artistic talent and learn about the services WCRC provides to the community.
