Last Monday, Manchester received 10 inches of snow in a greater-than-predicted winter storm. The Washtenaw County Road Commission reported having used 3.1 million pounds of salt, 3,200 gallons of brine and 16+ hours of plowing just on Monday.

Because of the winter storm that hit last week, the Washtenaw County Road Commission has extended the dates for the completion of road work in Bridgewater and Manchester Townships. Limestone resurfacing on Braun Rd between Clinton and McCollum Roads, with daytime road closures is now estimated through 11/27. Intermittent lane closures for drain improvements and forestry in Bridgewater Township on Fisk Rd between Lima Center Rd and McCollum Rd, and on Hack Rd between Neblo Rd and Abel Rd, as well as in Manchester Township on Buss Rd between the Jackson County Line and Sharon Hollow Rd, has been extended through 11/27.
