Sharon Curtis, who initiated the original “Worth Repeating,” addresses the group that gathered in mid-November to discuss the possibility of re-opening.

In November, a large group of interested community members gathered together to discuss whether it would be a viable idea to re-start the charity resale shop, Worth Repeating.

Since that time, articles of incorporation have been drawn up, 501(c)3 status has been applied for, and committees have been formed. Most importantly, a site has been located for the prospective business–the former Steelegrafix building at 110 E. Main Street.

The next organizational meeting for a new Worth Repeating is set for 7 pm on Tuesday, January 7th, at the Kingsley-Jenter house, 302 E. Main Street.

On the agenda is a discussion of what is needed to get the new Worth Repeating store open on or before March 1st, 2020.

More help is needed and welcomed. Anyone interested in volunteering–in any capacity–may attend the meeting next Monday. Newcomers are definitely welcome!

Editors note: 1-6-20 correction: this article originally stated the meeting will be held “Monday, January 7th” it has been corrected to “Tuesday, January 7th”.
