Parents, are you interested in creating a deeper bond with your youth? Do you want to raise strong, resilient children and help empower the youth in your life?

The Manchester United Methodist Church and SRSLY Manchester are partnering to offer free Guiding Good Choices Parent Workshops on five Wednesday evenings, starting February 5. The two-hour classes start at 5 pm sharp. Classes will be held at Manchester United Church, 501 Ann Arbor St., and will be facilitated by Pastor Dillon Burns and Alex Duranczyk. Registration is required and free childcare is available on request.

The workshops will explore boundary setting, decision making and resiliency. Session 1, on Feb 5th, will cover planning a family meeting. Session 2, on Feb 12th, will cover developing healthy beliefs and clear standards. Session 3, on Feb 19th, will cover kids learning refusal skills. Session 4, on Feb 26th, will cover managing conflict. And Session 5, on March 4th, will cover how to strengthen family bonds.
