Noteworthy Police activity in Manchester Village, December 2019

The following events were reported to the village by the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office for the month ending December 31:

December 2, 2019: Deputies responded to the 300 block of S. Macomb Street to assist citizens regarding easement rights. The situation was discussed and resolved.

December 2, 2019: Deputies handled a larceny investigation in the 700 block of Main Street. Tools had been taken from a building some time over a two-week period. There were no signs of forced entry.

December 16, 2019: Deputies responded to the 300 block of S. Washington Street to assist a citizen regarding easement rights; the situation was discussed and resolved.

December 20, 2019: Deputies were called to investigate an intimidation threats complaint in the 20000 block of Dutch Drive. The investigation is ongoing.

There were 195 calls for service in December, including traffic stops. Deputies conducted 79 traffic stops during this time, with 34 citations issued. Deputies also investigated 11 Ordinance Violations during the month of December 2019.
