Victory Baptist Church announces its Spring Bible Study, a thirteen-week study and examination of the gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew, beginning Sunday, March 8. The study will examine and try to answer such questions as:

  • Who exactly is this man who claims that all authority has been given to him in heaven and on earth?
  • What exactly does “all authority” entail?
  • By what right – what authority – does he say it?
  • What evidence or corroboration does Matthew provide?
  • What obligation do these things place on us?

The study will utilize a study guide consisting of weekly assigned readings from Matthew and a weekly worksheet of questions intended to help participants get to the heart of what God is saying, wants us to know, and would have us do in response.

Study guides are free of charge and may be picked up at several locations around town as well as from the church, 734-428-7506. Feel free to take one for your own study or to do with family or friends.

You also are invited to become part of the weekly discussion group that meets at Victory Baptist Church, 419 S. Macomb St., Sunday evenings at 5:30 beginning March 8 and running through June 14 (except for Easter and Memorial Day weekends). Refreshments and additional materials for discussion will be provided.

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
