The window at Worth Repeating is filling up with treasures. The store will officially open March 4 and is still accepting donations this week.

A “soft opening” is planned for the new Worth Repeating store, 110 E. Main Street, on Wednesday, March 4. Planned hours for the charity resale shop will be 11-5 Wednesday through Saturday.

“Our Grand Opening will be in April, on a Saturday to be announced later,” said lead organizer Pat Sahakian. “It will be a celebration for the entire community.”

Sahakian explained that they want to “work out the kinks” from their system before a full-scale grand opening. “We have to train our volunteers on our point of sale software,” she added. “Lots to do and lots to learn … but it is all good.”

An energetic team of more than 40 volunteers has been busy getting the store in shape, pricing, and sorting donated merchandise. Donations are being accepted from 11-5 Wednesday through Saturday this week as well.

“The community support has been fabulous and inspires all of us as we see the store taking shape,” Sahakian concluded.
