WCSO report: February 2020 police activity in Village of Manchester

During the month of February 2020 there were 129 calls for service (including traffic stops). Deputies conducted 58 traffic stops during this time, with 46 citations issued.

Noteworthy events in Manchester Village during last month include:

  • February 9: Deputies were sent to the area of South Macomb and Territorial Road for a disorderly complaint. The caller heard yelling and believed a vehicle may have been following someone. Deputies did not locate the subjects.
  • February 24: More than 10 pounds of medication was collected from the red barrel and turned over for destruction.
  • February 26: The collaboration Deputy responded to the 100 block of E. Main Street to investigate a fraudulent check. The deputy has identified the suspect in this case and it has been sent to the prosecutor’s office for review.
  • February 29: The collaboration Deputy was dispatched to the 700 block of Parr Road for an unresponsive subject, who was pronounced deceased at the scene. The 58-year-old male was a Scio Township resident. There is no suspicion of foul play.

Deputies investigated 34 Ordinance Violations during the month of February.
