Obituary: Mary Anne Fielder
Mary Anne Fielder, 88, passed away May 4, 2020. She was born on May 3, 1932, in Chelsea, Michigan to Webster and Martha (Tirb) Schill. Mary Anne married the love of her life, Donald Fielder, on May 1, 1954. She will be remembered as a woman that spoke her mind and liked the company of others. Mary Anne enjoyed spending time with her family and had a great love for animals, especially her dogs. She held several jobs throughout her life but being a school bus driver was her greatest joy. Mary Anne retired from the Manchester School District after 18 years of service. In her spare time, she played cards with friends and knitted afghans and slippers along with other items that she donated to the local veterans. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mary Anne will be missed by her children, Bruce (Peni) Fielder and Marti (Gary) Bondy; grandchildren, Jason, Katie, Lindsay and Samantha; and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald and a sister.
Mary Anne’s family has held a private gathering and service at Eineder’s Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Brooklyn Chapel, with interment following at St. Mary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Manchester. Pastor James Phillips officiated. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Columbia Township EMT/Fire Department.
