SRSLY is partnering with St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea and the Community Mental Health Partnership of Southeast Michigan to lead free “Guiding Good Choices” parent workshops. These free workshops help parents with communication, bonding, and setting rules & boundaries. Parents, guardians, and/or grandparents are welcome to attend.

The workshops will be held virtually through WebEx. Session #1 will meet weekly on Thursdays starting May 28, from 12-2 pm and Session #2 will meet weekly on Tuesdays starting June 2, from 9-11 am. To sign up for either session, email Emily.Griswold@stjoeshealth.org

The program works best with caregivers who have a child between the ages of 7-14, but is open to anyone. The workshop includes 5 sessions, held for 2 hours once a week. This program is evidence-based, and is proven to reduce youth substance abuse and other problematic behaviors.
