Meet our intern, Claire Pajka

Claire Pajka

This summer, University of Michigan student Claire Pajka will be interning with the Manchester Mirror! An Ohio native, she grew up near Cuyahoga Valley National Park and has spent previous summers working in the Natural Resources Department of the local park system. She was previously a writer and editor for the Watershed Volunteer Program eNews of the Cleveland Metroparks.

Claire is a rising Junior at the University of Michigan studying Creative Writing and Biology with a focus in the environment and public health, and is an active member in the Society of Les Voyageurs. As she is passionate about citizen science, she looks forward to covering how different environmental issues affect the residents of Manchester. When not writing, Claire spends her time playing guitar and flute, and canoeing on the Huron River.
