Worth Repeating volunteers sort and prepare donated goods prior to the original opening of the store on March 4. The store is currently evaluating shopping patterns and volunteer availability to determine the best hours for being open during the transition, after being closed for three months.

Worth Repeating director Pat Sahakian has announced that the store will be open from 10 am until 2 pm on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday this week. Staff also will be taking donations on Tuesday and Thursday only from 10 am until 2 pm this week at the former Pyramid Office Supply.

“We have been overwhelmed by the generous response from the community with items to resell,” Sahakian said. “As a result, (after this week) we will stop taking donations for a few weeks so that we can process the donations that have already arrived.”

Sahakian said they are currently monitoring the store’s volunteers and shoppers to determine the best store hours while they navigate these unusual times.

“We certainly appreciate all the community support, and look forward to the time when we will begin giving back to our local nonprofits,” she concluded.
