Participants in this year’s “Fairy Tour & Virtual Festival” can create a fairy door and/or garden displayed in your front yard to create a Manchester Fairy Tour for the entire community.

Once you’ve created your fairy display, submit your address to farmersmarket48158@gmail.com. A list will be created for the community to go on a Fairy Tour to view all of the fairy doors and gardens, and a panel of judges will view each of the gardens and vote on first, second, and third place winners.

First Place will receive a $20 Acorn Farmers Market certificate; second place a $15 Acorn Farmers Market certificate; and third place will receive a $10 Acorn Farmers Market certificate.

The deadline for contest submissions is this Thursday, July 9. Winners will be announced Saturday, July 11.

In conjunction with Acorn Farmers’ Market’s Fairy Garden Contest, this week –– Monday, July 6 – Friday, July 10, will also feature the Virtual Fairy Festival! Each day a LIVE Facebook video, featuring special guests presenting crafts, stories, dance, singing, and Fairy Farm Friends, will be featured. Follow Manchester Michigan Farmers Market on Facebook for all the details.

A Giant Goat Raffle will take place on Friday. To enter, just comment on each of the LIVE videos. Only one chance per person per video, but one person can make multiple comments for multiple children. (Example: A mom of three kids can enter each of her children using her own profile name). You can enter an additional time for every video so everyone will have the opportunity to enter up to four times –– Monday through Thursday.

Thank you to Manchester Lions Club, for donating this adorable giant goat for the Virtual Fairy Festival Raffle.
