Letter to the editor: Pandemic Prom could bring COVID outbreak to community.

To the Editor:

The mindless and frivolous “Pandemic Prom” covered by the July 8 MIRROR has brought shame to our community. Up to now, we have done well in keeping COVID-19 cases to a bare minimum. This outrageous prom was an open invitation to community spread of the virus. We may get lucky, but if there is an outbreak here, we won’t have to wonder why.
