Riverfolk Virtual Music and Arts Camps offer scholarships to Manchester students

After Covid-19 restrictions cancelled all of Riverfolk’s summer programming, good news arrived with notice of a grant award by the Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor Foundation. This grant will allow the Riverfolk Music & Arts Organization to pivot and launch virtual music and art camps for students ages 6-12 and 13-above.

A limited number of scholarships are available to Manchester students who would like to attend. Just use the code provided below when registering to receive the discounts.

First, is a CAS Summer Day Camp for ages 6-12, August 3-7. Follow the link for registration information.

This is a summer music and arts enrichment day camp that helps you improve your skills on your instrument, connects you with musical friends, and allows you to explore art, writing, theatre, or musical math. For beginning to intermediate levels. Intended for string students with one year experience. Half Day $125 and Full Day $175.

New this year, and open to all: Beginner Ukulele + 1 Elective $50 use code UKE20. Register for these classes by July 25 at Eventbrite.com 

Next, the Riverfolk Online Camp with Westbound Situation for Ages 13-Adult, August 10-14 (Follow the link for registration information). The camp will be broken up into three different categories of classes: private lessons, group classes, and elective classes. All classes cover an aspect of the skills needed to be a musician able to interface and perform many different styles of music. Open to all instruments. Elective classes – dive deep into learning to groove, improvisation or tune writing. Register by August 8 at Eventbrite.com.
