ORDINANCE No. 303

POULTRY DEFINITION

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 158 AS INCORPORATED IN TITLE IX: PUBLIC SAFETY, CHAPTER 90: ANIMALS, OF MANCHESTER VILLAGE CODE FOR THE PURPOSE OF RESTATING THE DEFINITION OF POULTRY. 

THE VILLAGE OF MANCHESTER, WASHTENAW COUNTY, MICHIGAN, HEREBY ORDAINS:

Section 1. Amendment To Definition of Poultry.

Section 90.15 of the Manchester Village Code is hereby amended by deleting the definition of Poultry therein and replacing it with the following definition:

POULTRY.  All domestic fowl, ornamental birds, and game birds.

Section 2. Effective Date

The Village Clerk shall cause this Ordinance, or a synopsis of this Ordinance, to be published in the manner required by law within fifteen (15) days after it has been duly adopted by the Village Council. The effective date shall be the 20th day after the date of publication.
