Obituary: Kammy Koch
Kammy Kay Koch, 49, of Ypsilanti, passed away after a short illness (not virus related) on Friday, August 28, 2020 at her home. She was born on February 6, 1971, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Lester and Megana (Whitaker) Koch. She will be remembered for her love of life, and family, especially her nephews. Kammy was a 1989 graduate of Manchester High School. She was employed with Prestige Portrait, later known as Shutterfly, for over 20 years. Kammy enjoyed taking pictures, playing trivia, and going to movies with her nephews. She loved Bon Jovi and her extensive collection of M&M memorabilia. Kammy had a big heart and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Her talks were priceless.
Kammy is survived by her parents Lester and Megana; sister Janey (Mike Morse) Koch; nephews Paul and Allen Koch; and several aunts, uncles, and a special Aunt Rebecca (Bob) Milne. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Aunt Joyce and Uncle Brad.
Kammy’s family and friends will gather Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 12 pm – 2 pm at Victory Baptist Church, Manchester, with her memorial service to follow at 2 pm. Rev. Gary Page will officiate. Private interment of ashes will take place at a later date at Washtenong Memorial Park, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Face masks will be required for admittance to the Funeral Home or any facility where any service or visitation is being conducted. Please bring and wear a face mask until further notice.
