St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea recently released a short video highlighting the new WAVE shuttle service they are sponsoring between Manchester and Chelsea, and between Stockbridge and Chelsea. The 4-minute video is available to watch here: https://youtu.be/zZIbVvgotd8.

The shuttle, which is free to ride for all ages, runs between Manchester and Chelsea multiple times per day on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Stops in Manchester include Emanuel United Church of Christ located at 324 W. Main Street and the Manchester Village Offices located at 912 City Road (lower parking lot off of Hibbard Street). The shuttle will drop off and pick up passengers at multiple locations throughout Chelsea.

The shuttle service was supposed to start on April 1, but because of COVID-19 did not begin operation until August 3. Because of the ongoing pandemic, reservations are encouraged to ensure seating which is more limited due to social distancing requirements. For information about the shuttle and for seating reservations, please call WAVE at 734-475-9494. Additionally, all riders are required to wear masks.
