Equestrians are district champs!

“The Manchester Equestrian Team is off to an amazing season,” says coach Lydia Rice Coval.

Last Sunday, September 20, the team had its final district meet. Manchester won with overall total points to be come district champions.

“The team has been working very hard this year despite all of the obstacles,” Coval said. “The eight riders on the team are a very talented group and continue to improve at each meet.”

Manchester scored a total of 551 points, followed by Sand Creek with 520; Whiteford, 395; and Bedford scored 293 points.

Next weekend, October 2-4, the team will compete at regionals at the Ingham County Fair Grounds in Mason. Go Dutch!
