October 3, 2020

I have been privileged to have voted in 11 presidential elections in my life. On many occasions I have heard the phase “the most important election in your lifetime.” I have concluded that this may be the most important election in our lifetime. One side is dedicated to protecting the constitution and most importantly the Bill of Rights. One side is dedicated in protecting the integrity of the Judicial System. One side is dedicated on protecting our law enforcement. One side is dedicated to supporting our military. One side wants to add two new states to our country to solidify power in the legislature. One side wants to change the structure of the Supreme Court to legislate through the court what they cannot do through Congress. Both sides want us to believe that they are in favor of the above statements. That is the illusion of politics. If you know the answer to these questions and agree or disagree please go out and vote. If you are not sure of the answers please do research. There is an old saying that politics are local. It is true. The person you vote for as mayor has more control of your life that your vote for President. A city or village election may have bigger impact on your life than a vote for Senate or Congress. I do not believe anyone should tell an American how to cast their vote. Voting is the most sacred of our privileges. Never take your vote lightly. Do your research and vote on results not on promises.
