As we prepare for colder weather and more indoor activities, masks will continue to be vital to limit the spread of COVID-19. To improve access across the County, the Washtenaw County Office of Community and Economic Development is working with 25 community partners to distribute 10,000 free masks to lower income residents in the coming weeks.

The Manchester location is the Community Resource Center, located at 710 E Main St (east side of the building). Director Laura Seyfried explained that that anyone who needs some can call to schedule a pick up time. She stated, “We are giving them out to clients in their grocery bags, but they are available to others in our service area as well.”

To schedule a time to pick up free masks call 734-428-7722. The masks were provided by the State of Michigan to all Community Action Agencies to help provide PPE to low-income and at-risk residents.
