Board of Commissioners seeking volunteers for Commission on Aging
The Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners is looking for people to volunteer for positions on the Washtenaw County Commission on Aging. The Board of Commissioners will make these appointments at its upcoming session on November 18, 2020 at 6:45 pm.

Those resumes received by NOVEMBER 6, 2020 will be submitted to the Board of Commissioners for its consideration on November 18, 2020. The appointments will become effective January 1, 2021. These appointments include:
- Commission on Aging – The Board of Commissioners is looking to fill ten (10) positions as follows: (1) one individual from each commissioner district (9) who does not have a conflict of interest arising from an employment relationship with a publicly funded senior service program in the county and (1) one representing Member-at-Large with a professional background in the field of aging, all for two-year terms that expire December 31, 2022. The purpose of the Commission on Aging is to advise the Board of Commissioners on the needs of older Washtenaw County residents and needed actions and strategies to support their quality of life, with at least one member serving from each County Commission district.
