Letter to the Editor: Manchester, you’re appreciated

To the Editor:

The Manchester Knights of Columbus would like to thank the residents of Manchester and the surrounding community for their generous support of our Annual MI (mentally impaired) Drive! Better known as our annual “Tootsie Roll” Drive, it was our 46th year of helping children and adults with intellectual  and developmental disabilities.

The proceeds from this event will be donated to the St. Louis Center in Chelsea, MI, to help support their charitable work.

A special thanks to the local businesses who graciously allowed us to  stand in front of their doors: Manchester Marathon, Village Gas Mart (BP), ACE Hardware, Dollar General, and Linda’s Diner. Thank you!
