Drive-thru flu shot clinic rescheduled for Thursday

The Washtenaw County Health Department has rescheduled the drive-thru flu-shot clinic in Emanuel Church’s parking lot, 324 West Main Street, for this Thursday, November 12 from 1 to 5:30 pm. Anyone over 6 months can get a flu shot at the event and there will be no out-of-pocket expense, but organizers do ask that you bring a form of identification and an insurance card if you have health insurance.

This event was originally scheduled for Oct. 8, but had to be postponed due to a very large turnout at earlier flu vaccine events and delayed shipments of vaccines. Emanuel Church also recently hosted a non-drive thru free flu shot clinic on Saturday, November 7th, which was run by Michigan Medicine.
