Letter to the editor: How does this reflect on Village of Manchester?

Dear Editor:

This is what I received after our Village election: an anonymously sent rubber chicken from a 3rd party vendor with the following written on it: “Cock a doodle do, no one voted for you. Cluck cluck ‘NIMBY’ From the City of Manchester”.

I contacted the 3rd party vendor as I was curious who spent their hard-earned money on me and wanted to thank this individual(s) personally. She apologized as she had to abbreviate the message to fit on the rubber chicken. The original message stated, “From the City Council of Manchester.”

While the dogs love the new chew toy, I’m wondering what this says about the Village of Manchester and what the Village of Manchester is becoming.
