WCSO: November 2020 police activity report in the village of Manchester

During the month of November, there were 98 calls for service. During this time, 30 traffic stops were made, resulting in four citations.

Noteworthy events in Manchester Village during last month include:

November 3: a Collaboration Deputy responded to the 100 block of Hibbard St. for a report of a Malicious Damage of Property report. The complainant reported that their political signs were damaged overnight, and spray painted. There were no witnesses to this incident and there are no known suspects.

November 7: a Collaboration Deputy responded to the 100 block of Union St. for an unknown subject banging at the back door to a residence in the area. The homeowner did not know who the subject was and subsequently called 911. Prior to the Deputies’ arrival, the subject had run off in an unknown direction and was not located. It is not known who the subject is, or what their intentions were.

November 11: a Collaboration Deputy responded to the 10500 block of M52 for a report of an assault between two co-workers. The complainant advised that they had been punched by a fellow co-worker. The incident is isolated and charges are forthcoming.

November 16: a Collaboration Deputy responded to the 1000 block of Duncan Street for a report of a fraud. The complainant reported they had been defrauded out of $17,000 by an unknown suspect. The WCSO’s Detective Bureau assisted in locating a potential suspect, but discovered that the suspect resided in an unknown country outside of the United States.

November 23: a Collaboration Deputy responded to the 200 block of N. Washington Street for a report of Child Neglect. The case was investigated by the Deputy and Child Protective Services, but charges were declined by the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office.

There was one ordinance violation reported in November.
