Wrestling team helps the community

Wrestling team members assist coach Steve Vlcek in putting up a large tent for outdoor events and dining in the Village Tap parking lot

Led by Coach Steve Vlcek and staff, the Manchester High School Wrestling team participated in putting up a shelter tent at the Village Tap this weekend. Spring and summer outdoor activities will be easier to enjoy at “The Tap” with the added protection it provides.

With the season starting late, this year’s wrestling team is making good progress, according to Vlcek. The team will be starting District competition vs. Division 4 rivals Grass Lake, East Jackson and Vandercook this week, March 17-18, hosted by Grass Lake.
