Manchester Township Board of Trustees Meeting Synopsis for April 13, 2021

The regular monthly meeting of the Manchester Township Board of Trustees was called to order at 7:00 pm by Supervisor Milkey. Supervisor Milkey, Clerk Proctor, Treasurer Thompson, Trustees Fusilier, Jarvis and Seefeld were present. Absent Trustee Moutinho.

Board approved agenda as amended. The Board approved meeting minutes from March 16, 2021 meeting. Accepted meeting minutes from Village meetings March 1 and March 15, 2021. Also accepted minutes from Manchester Township Planning Commission meeting April 1, 2021.

Board received written reports from the Zoning Administrator and Fire Chief, March 2021 had record setting number of runs for a month. Discussion followed regarding the issuing of burn permits and grass fires. Board approved mowing bid for Oak Grove Cemetery, Carpet Cleaning bid for office, and Washtenaw County Road Commission bid for $52,628.94 for 3 applications of dust control and $59,100.00 to work on Buss Road between Sharon Hollow and Lamb Road. Appointed Doug Brooks and Shelly Stace to Planning Commission. Transfer of ownership to Manchester Township of Oak Grove Cemetery is now complete. Meeting adjourned at 8:45 pm.
