It was another good week for the Manchester soccer team.

Manchester’s varsity soccer team continued its dream season this week, according to co-coach Scott Somerville.

“They had only one game on Wednesday May 12 vs. Jackson Christian, and won 8-0,” Somerville said. “The (team is) now 11-0 and drew a 1st seed in the playoffs for Division 4, District 53.”

Nine of the team’s 11 games have been shut-outs, with only four goals scored against the team, and many games have been subject to the mercy rule, which states when a team is leading by 8 points, play is suspended.

Congratulations to this hard-working team and we are watching for more successes in the coming weeks!
