Youth football program sign up starts

Manchester 2021 Youth Fundamental Football Camp for all students entering grades K-6 this fall, will be held from 6-8 pm on July 28, 29, and 30 on the turf at the MHS football stadium.

The camp will focus on football passing, catching, ball security skills and football FUNdamentals, according to varsity football coach Ben Pack. Coaches will include high school, middle school, and youth coaches, assisted by high school football players. The fundamentals will correlate with skills needed for the Cascades Flag League, as well as with drills used during the fall practices.

Participants should wear a t-shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes to the camp.

The cost for the three-day event is $30, payable to Manchester High School Football.

Perks of the program include daily flag football games, a “Manchester Fight Song” competition, post practice popsicles daily, and a camp certificate upon completion. Each participant will also receive a camp t-shirt.

Registration is open now and will remain open through camp. Walk-ins are welcome.
