Celebrate Dairy at the outdoor Farmer’s Market this week
Submitted by Manchester Farmers Market
Come celebrate dairy at Acorn’s Outdoor Market this Thursday, June 3, with special guest, Horning Farms. They will have delicious cheeses and butter, as well as educational coloring books for the children. Learn more about life on the dairy farm as we embrace National Dairy Month together.
Horning Farms is part of a farmer-owned, Michigan based dairy cooperative, which owns three dairy processing plants. One of these is Heritage Ridge Creamery, which makes the cheese the Horning family is proud to offer in its farm shop. Come purchase a delicious variety of cheeses and farm fresh butter direct from Horning Farms!
Horning Farms is a multigenerational farm that was founded over 140 years ago with a proud and rich family history. The Horning family is passionate about farming and the opportunity to raise food for ourselves and our community.
“Family is the core of our business,” they say. “Three generations join forces daily on the farm to work with and learn from one another.”
Stop by Acorn’s Outdoor Market, located at 455 W. Main St., to pick up your farm fresh cheese and butter and shop from many other amazing vendors from 3-7 pm.
