3rd Thursday excitement returns June 17th
Summer Thursday nights in Manchester are always full of fun with free live music at the gazebo concerts and the bustle of the outdoor farmers market, but Thursday, June 17th will have even more appeal as 3rd Thursdays return to downtown Manchester for the 2021 summer season!
Start the evening off with a trip to the outdoor farmers market running from 3 to 7 pm at 455 West Main Street in front of the soon-to-be open Manchester Market.
From 5 to 8 pm, spend time downtown enjoying live music by Ann Arbor’s School of Rock, craft vendors, buskers, a petting zoo, children’s activities in the alley and a hayride! Stores and restaurants will be offering specials and some stores will have extended hours.
Head to the corner and up East Main Street and visit the Manchester Historical Society Museum located at 302 East Main Street and the blacksmith shop at 324 East Main Street, which will both be open to visitors free of charge.
Finish the evening off at the gazebo in Wurster Park on West Main Street at 7:30 pm with a free concert by Grammy Award-winning virtuoso harmonica player Peter “Madcat” Ruth as he plays blues, rock ‘n’ roll, folk, and world music.
