Manchester Township Board of Trustees Meeting Synopsis for June 8, 2021

The regular monthly meeting of the Manchester Township Board of Trustees was called to order at 7:09pm  by Supervisor Milkey. Supervisor Milkey, Clerk Proctor, Treasurer Thompson, Trustees Fusilier, Jarvis, Moutinho and Seefeld were present.

Board approved agenda as amended.  The Board approved meeting minutes from May 11, 2021 meeting.  Accepted Manchester Township Planning Commission minutes from June 3, 2021 and Joint Planning Commission minutes from December 3, 2020 and April 1, 2021.  meeting minutes from Manchester Village Council are on file.

Board accepted reports from Zoning Administrator gave monthly report.  Fire Chief presented report for May 2021- 47 calls for month. With highest percentage of runs in the Village.

Supervisor Milkey’s report included that on Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 9am – noon, there will be a used tire recycle event scheduled at the back lot of the township hall, organized thru Washtenaw County.

The board approved a resolution to Support Affordable Countywide Broadband Assess.  Also, approved a contract with Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce for Christmas Lighting in the Village of Manchester.
