Christopher Olmstead

Christopher Sylven Olmstead, 54, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Belleville, Michigan. The family is having a private ceremony to say their farewells.

He was born on July 20, 1966, in Inglewood, California to Carl and Mary Jo (Langley) Olmstead. He will be remembered for his quick wit and his great sense of humor. Chris was a proud parent, who loved watching and attending his children’s events. He enjoyed watching sports and a good pizza. Chris worked as an RN in Ann Arbor at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital and the VA Hospital. He was a graduate of WCC and Manchester High School. Chris was a devoted member of AA for the last 31 years.

Chris will be dearly missed by his children, Marissa Leigh and Garrett Sylven; his mother Mary Jo; and his brother Carl Todd; many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Carl and brother, Brian.
