Pop-up COVID vaccine clinics coming to Manchester Manor & Freedom Township Hall
The Washtenaw County Health Department has two upcoming pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinics happening in the Manchester area on Wednesday, July 28. These are walk-up clinics; no appointments are needed. COVID-19 vaccines are free and available to everyone 12 years old and older. Those 17 years old or younger must bring a parent or guardian. These sites are providing Pfizer or one-dose Johnson and Johnson vaccines.
• Wednesday, July 28 from 10:00am-12:00pm at Manchester Manor Mobile Home Park (101 Hibbard Street)
• Wednesday, July 28 from 2:00-4:00pm at Freedom Township Hall (11508 E. Pleasant Lake Road)
Anyone with questions may call 734-544-6700. Those getting vaccinated should eat about an hour before getting their vaccine and stay hydrated with water or non-caffeinated beverages.
It is easier than ever to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Vaccines are free, safe, and effective. Everyone 12 years old or older is eligible and can be vaccinated through the Health Department or other local vaccine providers, such as pharmacies and health care providers.
Free transportation is available to help people get to vaccination sites. Any Washtenaw County resident with any barrier to transportation can book a free ride to and from local vaccine sites by calling 844-900-4892 and using the code “Vaccinate Washtenaw.”
