Enjoy one of the last days of summer by spending the morning listening and looking for birds in the Leonard Preserve with with Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation’s Kelsey Dehring on the morning of Saturday, September 11th from 8 to 10 am. Stroll along rivers, forests, and fields in search of warblers before they migrate south, Red-headed Woodpeckers, and Wood Ducks, just to name a few!

This free program is limited to 12 birders. To register, email Kelsey at dehringk@washtenaw.org.  Participants should bring their own binoculars. The Leonard Preserve is located just outside of the Manchester Village limits at 375 N Union St.

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
