St. Mary Church Manchester will offer a series on The Real Presence

St Mary Parish is offering a series of six sessions that help explain why Catholics believe the literal understanding of John’s Gospel chapter 6. The “The Real Presence” series dives into Scripture, historical Christianity, and the evidence found through scientific investigation of mysterious appearances of human tissue and blood on a communion wafer.

Anybody curious about the 2000-year Christian practice of receiving the real presence of Jesus in Holy Communion is welcome to attend in person — or explore for yourself on your smartphone or computer. In-person sessions in the church basement begin on Monday, Sept 13th at 12:45pm AND Thursday, Sept 16th at 6:30pm. The same course will be offered on both days within a given week.
