Downtown stores to stay open late on Thursday nights for holiday shopping

The Village of Manchester’s downtown holiday shopping hours are set to begin this Thursday! Stores and restaurants committing extended hours and being open until 8 pm on November 11th and 18th, and December 2nd, 9th, and 16th include River Raisin Mercantile, Sassy Peacock, Sweet Leilani’s, All Thingz Green, Sharon Valley Bike Shoppe, and SteeleGrafix. Manchester Diner, which is usually closed in the evening, will be open on those nights serving soup, sandwiches, coffee, and hot chocolate. All other restaurants, bars, and the distillery will be open as usual. Stores may be offering specials and discounts.

Sue LaRocque, owner of River Raisin Mercantile states, “I encourage people to shop local and get some of their Christmas shopping done while listening to music, then enjoy dinner and a cocktail locally.”
