A new awning at the entrance to the Manchester chapel of Eineder Funeral Home has put an exclamation point on almost two years’ worth of decor changes and updates since the Jeff Eineder family took over the Borek-Jennings Funeral homes in Manchester and Brooklyn.

COVID-related supply chain issues as well as worker shortages have made the process a longer one than Jeff Eineder had originally planned, but he is happy with the results. “Addison Awning did a great job for us,” he says. “We have plans to make continual improvements over the next year, but we are pleased with what has been done so far.”

Another decor change that is in the process of being finished, is a display case that will hold a number of artifacts inside the gathering space that have been donated to the funeral home.

“Much of it has been donated by the Manchester Area Historical Society,” Eineder acknowledges. “But some family members have donated such items as Ron and Arthur Jenter’s diplomas from mortuary school, and Ernest Jenter’s state certification.” These items will be on permanent display in the gathering area.
